My Bio

Hello! My name is Purvi Bangdiwala, and I am a dedicated single mother of three, a lead pharmacy technician, and a legal immigrant who is driven by a passion for creating positive change. As someone who has faced numerous challenges, I know firsthand the struggles of working tirelessly to provide for my family. I’ve held multiple jobs—ranging from modeling and event management to housekeeping and driving—while raising my children and ensuring they had access to quality education and opportunities.

My journey has shown me the gaps in our healthcare system and the burdens it places on working families. I believe healthcare is a right, not a privilege, and I am committed to advocating for reforms that make health insurance affordable and accessible for everyone.

I am also a strong proponent of the Child Tax Credit, which provides critical support for working families. Programs like these are essential for single parents striving to give their children a brighter future.

As an immigrant who became a U.S. citizen, I am deeply grateful to this country for the security and freedom it has given me. Now, I am determined to give back by working to address the issues that matter most to families like mine: affordable healthcare, economic opportunities, and a system that uplifts all Americans.

With a focus on hard work, gratitude, and community, I am ready to serve and bring meaningful change for the people I love and the country I cherish.

My Key Issues

Transportation

As a biker myself and a mom with new drivers on the road, I want to ensure our roads are safe and reliable.

Affordability

Florida families suffer from higher prices everywhere from the grocery store to insurance, to the pump. I will fight to reinstate and expand the Child Tax Credit and put cash back in Floridians hands.

Immigration

As a legal immigrant myself I will be able to speak from experience on what changes to the system need to be made. Because I am also Independent, I am the best voice to advocate for those seeking a new home here in America.

Healthcare

I am a pharmacy technician and see firsthand everyday how Americans struggle with insurance just to get the medications they need. The first thing I will do to improve healthcare is pledge to never take money from a pharmaceutical company. I will always keep my patients best interests at heart, and by not taking money from Big Pharma or either major party, I will be able to vote in the patients best interest.
